If you have one or two rooms in mind, here’s what each one involves. For how a whole job runs, from estimate to walkthrough, see interior painters in Andover.
Bedroom painting in Andover
We paint bedroom walls, ceilings, and trim with the same prep as every other room: cracks and holes filled, and walls and trim sanded and dusted before any paint goes on. We clean up every afternoon.
One bedroom on the Our Work page has deep navy walls above white wainscoting, with the ceiling and crown kept bright white.
A planning tip: bedrooms are easier when there’s somewhere else to sleep that night.
Painting walls with trim: baseboards, molding, doors, and windows
Yes, we do the trim too. We paint interior walls, ceilings, trim and molding, and doors and windows.
Interior work is detail work. Straight cut lines, filled cracks, no roller marks on the ceiling, and no paint on your floors, hardware or outlet covers.
Before any paint goes on, we patch holes and dings, caulk gaps in the trim, and sand and dust the walls and trim. Then we cut in sharp lines before rolling. We brush or roll, depending on the job.
Prep is what makes the finish hold up in a house with kids, dogs and radiators.
On sheen: flatter finishes hide wall imperfections. Shinier finishes are easier to wipe clean, which is why they’re often used on trim and doors.
Two jobs on the Our Work page show it: a hallway with soft green-grey walls and white trim and doors, and a home office with a coffered ceiling, wainscoting and window trim finished in white against warm grey walls.
Ceiling painting in Andover, including stained ceilings
We paint ceilings along with the walls, with no roller marks.
If you see a brown ring on the ceiling, find out what caused it first. A stain from an old leak that’s been fixed can be sealed with a stain-blocking primer and painted. A stain from a leak that’s still happening will come right back. Any water or smoke damage gets a stain-blocking primer before the finish coat.
Ceilings on the Our Work page include a home theater with the walls, ceiling, crown and paneling all brought to one deep charcoal, the navy bedroom with its ceiling and crown kept bright white, and the coffered ceiling in the home office.
Kitchens and cabinets
We paint kitchen walls, ceilings, and trim, and the cabinets too. Tired kitchen cabinets rarely need replacing. We clean, sand, prime, and spray them.
Living in the house while we paint
We’ll go over the order of rooms with you, so you still have a kitchen and a place to sit down while we work.
Before we start a room, the furniture moves to the center and gets covered, and the floors are protected. When we’re done, furniture goes back exactly where it was. If there’s heavy furniture, mention it at the estimate. We clean up every afternoon.
A few things that help:
- Keep pets in a closed room or out for the day.
- If you work from home, tell us which room to do last.
- Mention nap times or school pickups.
When we’re finished, we walk the job with you and take care of anything on your list before we ask for the final check.

FAQ
Do you paint the trim along with the walls?
Yes. We paint interior walls, ceilings, trim and molding, and doors and windows, and we sand and dust the walls and trim before any paint goes on.
Can you fix a stained ceiling?
If the stain came from water or smoke damage, we apply a stain-blocking primer before painting. Find out what caused a water stain first, because a stain from a leak that’s still happening will come right back.
Can we stay in the house while you paint?
Yes. We plan the order of rooms with you so the house stays usable while we work.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes. It goes to the center of the room and gets covered along with the floors, and it goes back exactly where it was when we’re done.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
